Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3169 Candy Crush Saga by Cookie
Having tried many times to pass level 3169 without boosters I had to admit defeat and use a couple of boosters.
I went back to an easy level (2950 is my high level choice) and passed it once to get the colourbomb from the helmet. Then I used a colourbomb booster and reset the game until the two colourbombs were together.
To reset the game, for those who don't know, If you don't like the board when you start the game don't make a move, click on the settings tab bottom left and exit out of the game. Then start again. As long as you make no moves you won't lose any lives or boosters.

The video below will show how I did it and I almost managed to complete the level using just the colourbomb except the game cheated at the end and didn't leave my last two colourbombs together as they should have been.
The only way to clear level 3169, in my opinion, is by using double colourbomb combos, so if you can make them yourself in the first few moves you may be able to pass this without resorting to boosters.
Just keep switching the colourbombs together, often the colourbombs from the popcorns will land side by side so you can use them instead of making your own.
Since there is no video without boosters available at the time of writing I will post my own using minimal boosters.
